Sweet Twinkie, a Spectacled parrotlet, was my first ever bird.  In addition to having to learn about birds, I had to learn about living with a parrotlet who had seizures.

For awhile she lived in an aquarium, but became very depressed.  It was then I had to make a decision to move her back into her cage and give her some happiness, although resking severe injury from her having a seizure there.

I feel she did live out her short life in happiness - playing with toys, eating some of her favorite foods, and teaching me about how special these little ones are.
